About the Institute

Vignan’s Institute of Management and Technology for Women (VMTW), is the brainchild of Dr. L Rathaiah, Chairman, Vignan Group of Institutions, was founded during August 2008, with four branches of Engineering.

VMTW is an exemplary institution of higher learning with a mission of pursuing excellence in education and research. The institution, with their diverse and dynamic community of about 3000 students offers a distinctive combination of some of the finest facilities for 8 different graduate, and undergraduate programs, accomplished faculty, world class facilities with hostel set on a sprawling area of 22 acres sylvan surroundings of mango groves and greenery.

At VMTW students will find an academic and social environment where everyone from faculty members to peers help shape their future. VMTW is a home to aesthetically designed buildings with state of the-art computer and internet facilities, modern laboratories, workshops, seminar halls, auditoriums and libraries, sports and games fields.

The Institution boasts of a strong alumni network with alumni events held every year serving as a platform for past students to give back to VMTW and share their experiences with its present fellow students. Institute also brings out creativity in students by imparting engineering knowledge imbibing interpersonal skills to promote innovation, research and entrepreneurship.

 

About ECE Department

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was started since the inception of Vignan's Institute of Management and Technology for Women during 2008 with an initial intake of 90. The strength was enhanced to 120 during 2010. The Department had added Post graduate programme in VLSI during the year 2011 with intake of 18.

The Department has state-of-art laboratories equipped with advanced and well maintained equipment, continuously updated application software packages, more than adequate computing systems with 24x7, 100 MBPS internet facility. The department is run by well qualified and experienced faculty & supporting staff.

 

About the International Conference

This International Conference on Advancement in VLSI and Signal Processing (VMTW-ICAVSP-2K24) is being organized by Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. VMTW-ICAVSP-2K24 will provide an international forum for researches, academicians, industry professional and UG / PG Students to explore and contribute their research by presenting and discussing the various aspects of developments in the field of Advancements in VLSI and Signal Processing.

Paper Submission Guidelines

Authors intending to present papers are requested to send soft copy of full length paper in IEEE format not exceeding seven pages to mail id [email protected] along with the application form. The selected papers will be notified for registration.
❖  No of Authors per paper is limited to 4 only.
❖  Authors should submit their original unpublished work in PDF format to [email protected]/ Link to Paper Submission
❖ Simultaneous submissions (papers already submitted to other conferences/journals) are not allowed.
❖ Submission should strictly follow the recommended IEEE conference template.
❖ Certificate will be provided to Authors who are present during their paper presentation.
❖  ISBN International Conference Proceeding will be provided with an additional charge of INR 1000 (Cost of one book).
❖  All submissions must include title, author(s) and affiliation(s). Full address for correspondence including phone no. and email id.
❖  The decision regarding the acceptance of paper is at the discretion of Technical Review Committee
❖  Selected papers will be published in respective Journals as per the interest of author.

Paper must be in pdf format and must satisfy following requirements:

  • Paper Size: A4.
  • Paper Length: Up to Seven pages, including figures, tables & references. A maximum of two additional pages are permitted, with an additional charge of INR 500 per page, to be paid during author registration.
  • Paper Formatting: double column, single spaced, 10pt Times New Roman font.
  • Margins: Left, Right, and Bottom: 0.75″ (19mm). The top margin must be 0.75″ (19 mm), except for the title page where it must be 1″ (25 mm).

Note: Violations of any of the above specifications may result in rejection of your paper.

Reviewing Process

Blind review process of peers will be As follows:

The plagiarism of the submitted manuscript will be checked by the plagiarism checking tools.

Minimum of Two reviewers per paper; all reviewers are subject matter experts as defined by their expertise.

Each reviewer will be given maximum 3 papers to review in minimum of 15 days time.

There will be anonymous review of the submitted manuscript.

Conference review Process:

Step 1: Acknowledgement to the authors (Assigning Manuscript ID) after submission of Full paper.

Step 2: The Supporting Team will check the followings for the Manuscript received.

  1. Plagiarism (as per IEEE Policy)
  2. Quality and Novelty
  3. Language
  4. Scope of the Manuscript with the theme of the Conference If the manuscript is satisfying the above said points, the manuscript will be sent for review.

Step 3: If the manuscript is not satisfying the above said points, the manuscript will be notified as either “Revise and Resubmit “or “Rejected”.

Step 4: The submitted manuscript will be assigned to two independent reviewers and will undergo a double-blind review process. Based on the review comments, the organizing committee will send the decision to authors (1. Accept 2. Accept with Revision 3. Reject)

Step 5: The authors of accepted and revised articles are requested for Registration, Camera ready Copy and Signed Copyright transfer form.

Step 6: All the Registered Manuscript shall be presented in the conference by the respective author(s).
